• The Delhi ENT hospital and research centre (DEHRC) was born out of realization that good quality health care for ear nose and throat diseases and head and neck cancer patients was becoming a dream for the patients of moderate means due to rising costs and absence of adequate facilities. The newly qualified specialist has to invest a lot of money to set up a well equipped practice. The facilities of microscope, endoscopes, audiology equipments and other diagnostic and treatment facilities cost upwards of a crore of rupees. This results in rise in cost of the treatment or use of substandard equipment.
• The above hospital (DEHRC) has been developed with a desire to offer affordable quality care to the patients. The facility can be utilized by any registered ear, nose and throat specialist. The available investigative facilities for ear include pure tone audiometry, special tests like SISI , tone decay, DL, ABLB, UCL etc. Free field audiometric, behavioral audiometry and speech audiometry facilities are also available.
• The assessment of speech disorders is facilitated by availability of specialist speech therapist.
• Two operation theatre are available for surgeries like tonsillectomy, adenoid curettage, septoplasty, rhinoplasty, turbinoplasty, myringoplasty, tympanoplasty, Ossiculoplasty, stapedectomy, facial nerve surgery, acoustic neuroma surgery and surgery for menier`s disease.
• The hospital is duly approved by NCR and fulfills all the conditions for health insurance companies. The hospital can conduct surgeries of medically rejected candidates from flying and armed forces health requirements.
